Our vision for Grace Community Church
is to faithfully live out the great commission and the great
commandment to love the Lord our God and to love our neighbors as
ourselves for the purpose of honoring and glorifying God through our
church family and personal lives.
Through God’s help and grace, we seek
to:
Worship God in a scriptural manner
through edifying teaching and preaching, fervent prayer, and joyful
music.
Provide a visible, welcoming and
hospitable church family for visitors and newcomers.
Incorporate new members into the
life, service and ministries of our church.
Support and encourage one another
to use our God given gifts to share in the work of the church, and
to provide faithful financial stewardship in thanksgiving for God’s
grace and mercy in our lives.
Develop and put into action plans
to expand our missions program to effectively reach out to the
unchurched and unsaved in the community, nation, and world.
Minister, encourage and aid
believers and non-believers through deeds of mercy and service.
Faithfully and effectively serve
Christ and proclaim the gospel of Christ in our homes, communities,
and world.
Provide an effective, progressive
Christ-centered education program to disciple and encourage everyone
of all ages to grow in the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and
grace of Jesus Christ.
Develop and implement a plan to
renew, nourish and grow our youth program, particularly pre-teens
and teens, including establishment of an active youth group and a
long-term goal of at least a part time ministry team member.
Strengthen the fellowship of our
church family and community through increasing the participation in,
and growing the number of, small groups, home fellowships, women’s
ministries, men’s ministries, and other church groups.
By faithfully working toward these
goals, through the Lord’s blessing, we pray to double the size of
our Grace Community Church family within the next three years.
